Description

UniMaaS addresses key challenges in adopting the Manufacturing as a Service (MaaS) paradigm, such as product customization, circularity, predictive maintenance, and cost-efficient performance. The project aims to deliver a platform offering flexible, decentralized manufacturing resources and supply chains for European SMEs and industries.

The platform integrates three suites:

Data Modelling Suite: Supporting trusted data exchange, resource monitoring, and digital product passports.

Modelling Suite: Enabling modular resource modeling, AI-driven estimations, and Zero-X analysis.

Decision-Making Suite: Optimizing scheduling, circularity, and sustainability.

Using cloud computing, digital twins, and trustworthy AI, UniMaaS will streamline lifecycle management and customized manufacturing service chains. Its solutions will be demonstrated in four pilots: aircraft maintenance, automotive seating, 3D construction printing, and logistics management.
