The Story
Future 6G networks will no longer operate as isolated infrastructures but as fully integrated ecosystems combining terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks, Open RAN, edge, core, and cloud domains. Supporting emerging applications such as immersive XR, Industry 4.0, and disaster response requires real-time intelligence, sustainability, and seamless interoperability across heterogeneous environments.
UNITY-6G addresses this challenge by designing an integrated AI-native architecture that enables scalable, sustainable, and data-driven management of complex 6G systems. By combining distributed intelligence, digital network twinning, semantic communications, and service-based design principles, UNITY-6G redefines how next-generation networks are orchestrated and optimized.
Project Overview
UNITY-6G develops a sustainable and scalable AI-native architecture for integrated 6G networks, spanning terrestrial and non-terrestrial domains, xHaul, Open RAN, non-public networks, edge, core, and cloud environments. The project leverages distributed ledger technologies, semantic communications, and digital network twins to enhance performance, cost-efficiency, and trustworthiness across services and applications.
A key innovation is the evolution toward real-time, distributed, and network-state-aware Open RAN, enabling fine-grained, data-driven control through distributed applications (dApps) that complement xApps and rApps. UNITY-6G defines common interfaces and protocols to ensure interoperability across heterogeneous domains and validates its architecture through four targeted use cases, including disaster-resilient networks, immersive XR communications, digital twin-based evaluation, and Industry 4.0 time-sensitive applications.
Our Contribution
Company’s merger successfully brought together a vast network of stores spanning multiple countries, establishing a unified corporate entity. Following the completion of the deal, Company’s leadership made the strategic decision to reshape the company’s.
The Results
Our involvement in supporting the Company merger extended over a comprehensive three-year period, encompassing activities ranging from pre-merger due diligence to post-closing strategy.
